Methane explosion at a coal mine in Zonguldak: 2 dead, 5 injured, 2 of whom are in a serious condition

Two miners lost their lives and five were injured in a methane gas explosion at a privately-owned mine in the town of Gelik, Zonguldak. The miners, who suffered severe burns, were transferred to hospitals in Ankara following initial treatment. One miner still trapped in the mine has not yet been reached.
