The progressives, revolutionaries and democrats of this country will gather today in Ankara under the slogan ‘We are standing side by side on the path to a united opposition’. At the forum, which will begin at 2.00 pm at the MMO Education and Culture Centre, the needs and possibilities of a united opposition against the Palace regime will be discussed. Organised with the aim of building a joint line against the one-man regime that has driven the country to the brink of disaster in every sphere, the forum will explore ways for the social opposition to act in unison against a regime that has lost its capacity to govern but is attempting to stay afloat through legitimacy imported from abroad.
